WHO WE ARE
Founded in 1999, Asian Art Options was set up as a consultancy to provide full-scale art advisory to corporate, private and institution clients. Presently, the company is run by Audrey Phng, who joined the consultancy in 2003. Her passion and experience lie in the strategic and curatorial placement of the “right art for the right collection,” and working closely with various members of the art eco-system to establish art collections, programs and exhibitions.
She has extensive experience developing art collections for both corporate and private clients, including Ascendas Singapore, Bain Consulting, BHP Billiton, Credit Suisse Wealth Institute, JP Morgan, Ritz Carlton, UBS Singapore and more, and has developed strategic art programs for the Singtel, Credit Suisse, New Majestic Hotel & Bar, OCBC Bank and the Far East Hospitality Group. Her curatorial experience includes co-curating exhibitions at the Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay and OCBC Art Space.
Audrey is also actively involved in art education, and serves as the Executive Board member of Art Outreach Singapore, a non-profit art education program. Set up in 2003, the program aims to empower young minds via free art appreciations lessons. Art Outreach has collaborated with the following partners: National Arts Council, Singapore Tourism Board, Land Transport Authority, Economic Development Board, Marina Bay Sands, PontiacLand and Pinacotheque. Audrey works closely with Chairperson, Ms. Mae Anderson, and other board members on the strategic program development, fund-raising and public relations.
Audrey has a MA in Journalism from New York University, and also stems from a marketing communications background having worked with fashion powerhouse Club 21 Singapore, Burson Marstellar and Hill & Knowlton in New York City.
